With much coaxing from friends, I started The Open Circle as an open discussion group on MySpace (www.myspace.com/the1opencircle), talking about various spiritual paths. We have grown by leaps and bounds. More than I ever thought it would. It only seemed like the natural progression of things, to add the link to my web page. I am a Pagan mother of two wonderful boys who grew up and is currently living in Southern California. I started on my spiritual path over 20 years ago. Surprisingly, when I was told by my BIBLE teacher at Whittier Christian High School, "You need to find your path" and finding an article about Ellen Cannon Reed. There it began. I started off studying Wicca (Scott Cunningham ~an AMAZING resource) and as my knowledge grew and I started studying other Spiritual paths, I now consider myself an eclectic Pagan. Wiccan with Buddhist flair, as my great friend Brti says. I believe that knowledge is power and I read and absorb from all aspects. I hope that with this site, I can share what I have learned as well as learn from those who visit.
I am a total Earth person. I love to be outdoors, working in my garden and especially in the mountains, hiding in the trees or even at the beach (if only there wasn't so much sand...lol) I love to cook (watch for shared recipes on here) and I am one of the artisans on here that makes the hand-made items.
